In January 2012, I began a journey that would lead me to a new way of living. Though I had been on the journey for a while, that is the month when I turned a corner and the pieces of the puzzle began to fit together. My three kids, then 10, 7 and 2, were getting to the age where I was able to focus some time and energy on myself.
My evolution started with a shift in how I looked at and interacted with food. After a while, my exercise routine began to change. And eventually the two merged to form my new lifestyle.
After 9 months, I reached my goal weight, having lost about 75 pounds. In the year since then, I’ve settled into my new existence. I enjoy an active lifestyle of running and power yoga, healthy cooking and hopefully inspiring others to join me in my journey. I hope that YOU will, too!
