In January 2012, I began a journey that would lead me to a new way of living.  Though I had been on the journey for a while, that is the month when I turned a corner and the pieces of the puzzle began to fit together.  My three kids, then 10, 7 and 2, were getting to the age where I was able to focus some time and energy on myself.

My evolution started with a shift in how I looked at and interacted with food.  After a while, my exercise routine began to change.  And eventually the two merged to form my new lifestyle.

After 9 months, I reached my goal weight, having lost about 75 pounds.  In the year since then, I’ve settled into my new existence.  I enjoy an active lifestyle of running and power yoga, healthy cooking and hopefully inspiring others to join me in my journey.  I hope that YOU will, too!

  1. So glad I found you! I started Weight Watchers March 19th and I love how it has changed my perspective already, as well as my shape! I am always looking to find healthy ideas for eating and exercising. Look forward to reading your blog, as I progress on my weight loss journey!   2. Really excited to have found your blog! I have a 4 year old and a 2 year and am getting close to my goal weight. Winter has been a beast and typically when I go for my comfort foods. I could not be happier to see that you baked a scones! Anyway on WW and love it but can’t wait for Spring when I can walk outside again! Thanks for the inspiration!
